INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES, AND FAMILY COUNSELING

JAIME CARRILLO, LCSW, MPH

Meet the Therapist

Hi there, my name is Jaime Carrillo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I believe having someone to talk to is incredibly important. I try to offer a warm and collaborative approach and provide a safe and non judgmental space to work through whatever struggles you are facing. Utilizing a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused techniques we can identify those sources of negative behaviors/thoughts and work together to develop solutions that will assist in becoming a happier you. Whether you're dealing with a health or mental health condition, just need to vent about family, work, or anything else on your mind, let's talk!

Work Experience

Since 2010 I have worked for an out patient dialysis facility supporting and coordinating the psychological and behavioral health components of critically ill dialysis patients and their families. This has provided the opportunity for me to work with patients of all ages (ranging in age from 19-100), all socioeconomic statuses, different ethnicities, and an array of health and mental health conditions. Working with such a diverse population has really given me a wide range of experience and expertise with the following challenges: living with chronic health conditions, adjustment disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, relational and familial issues, to name just a few.

Since 2018 I have worked as a therapist delivering Tele-therapy for several different psychosocial issues. Utilizing a Cognitive Behavioral approach, these short term therapy programs include anxiety, depression, adjusting to a new medical condition, caregiver support, postpartum, anger management, intimacy, bereavement, and substance use.
